Horse Specialities is a specialist, animal health product distributor trading across England, Scotland and Wales. Exclusive product ranges include leading brand Grand Meadows, who produce cutting-edge nutrition and health products, and Flypel natural fly spray, which Horse Specialities also distributes in Ireland. (Launched two seasons ago, Flypel is a safe, effective and economical repellent that comes in a litre bottle). Horse Specialities also distributes Cowboy Magic, a well known range of shampoos and de-tanglers and the top ‘green spot’ remover, an effective product for getting dirt and grass stains out of light coloured horses, and the Stephens range of equine essentials, including a high quality range of English leatherwear, plus pure lambs’ wool numnahs and saddle pads. A recent addition to the Stephens range is the new saddle pad with Gel Eze, which has already made a huge impact with both professional and amateur riders.
Managing Director Simon Haythornthwaite and his staff visit all customers regularly and carry a full range of stock, ensuring a highly personal service. There are no minimum orders or carriage charges, so customers can take an order for as little as £10.00. This enables smaller shops to try out the range without having to lay out hundreds of pounds. Requests can be emailed and paid with credit cards by phone if required, or customers can pay by cheque.
